I see we're trying the Benson against Lefties thing again.   Concerned for this game.  Greene at home, Candy in the lineup and Benson against a lefty

Well my concern was founded. We drop the game 3-2.  I was wrong about Hunter Greene.  In 2 starts at GABP he has yet to give up a homer.  Hopefully he's turned the corner and can be the sub 4.00 ERA pitcher we hoped for.

On the other hand my concern about Benson and Candy were spot on.  Benson should not play against lefties until he exhibits some proficiency against them in the games where he starts against a righty but they sub a lefty and he stays in.

Everyone celebrated game 1 against a lefty but now he's down to .143 average and a .643 OPS

And I just don't think Candy is very good. Signing was a huge mistake and now Bell has to play him because he plays the guys with the big salary. 

Cruz remains tantalizingly good, but inconsistent and untrustworthy. His 3 walks in the 7th, might have cost us the game.
