Need a bounce back game from Phillips to keep him on track
Narrator: We didn't get it.
Recap: Phillips was bad again giving up 2 runs in 2.2 innings, walking 2 and hitting a guy. Managed to lower his ERA down to 8.03. On the other hand the pen went 7.1 scoreless led by 4 scoreless from Spiers.
Santillan another scoreless inning.
Capel and Jordan had 2 hits including a Capel homer. Hinds still pretty quiet, Dunn reduced to pinch running.

Recap: Bats lose 7-5. Gibaut fails in rehab start. Kravetz has nice 1.2 inning outing striking out 4. Still has 0.00 ERA

AAA - Double Header
Recap: Bats lose Game 1 5-4 in extras. Just a terrible start for Richardson. 3 runs in 2 innings while walking 5. Santillan threw a scoreless inning.
Not much offense. Just 4 hits. Capel did hit his 5th homer.
Game 2
Recap: Bats win 2-0 . Wynne, Branch and Byrne throw 2 hit shutout. Trautwein 1 hit. Dunn pinch ran.

For a org with supposedly a string farm system, with the exception of Dunn and Hinds that is a bad lineup.
Recap: Bats win 3-2. Gibaut gave up both runs. Kennedy, Santillan, and Bruhl have up nothing.
Offesne was essentially Levi Jordan. Nothing from Dunn and Hinds

Reds MLB talk / Reds recall Spiers put Antone on 15 Day DL (for now)

The #Reds today recalled from Triple-A Louisville RHP Carson Spiers and placed on the 15-day injured list RHP Tejay Antone (elbow inflammation).
It had all the earmarks of another UCL/TJ injury for Antone. If so probably career ending. Spiers is probably up for just a few days till Lodolo joins the club. Then Martinez probably goes to pen.

The Reds announced Monday that right-handed reliever Tejay Antone has been placed on the 15-day injured list. Righty Carson Spiers has been recalled from Triple-A to take his spot on the roster. While Cincinnati initially announced the injury as “elbow inflammation,” manager David Bell now tells the Reds beat that Antone tore a tendon completely off the bone and suffered a partial ligament tear in his right elbow (X link via Mark Sheldon of MLB.com). He’ll undergo surgery Friday. It’s a brutal setback for Antone, who previously had Tommy John surgery both in 2017 and again in 2021.
