Recap: Dayton wins 5-3. Lowder was good 5 innings, 1 run. Has 1.00 ERA.

HRod had 3 hits. Collier had 1 but it was 3 run homer.

Recap: Lookouts lose 4-1.  Farr 1 run in 5 has a 1.80 ERA. Maxwell 1.2 scoreless striking out 3.

Only bright spot on offense was Nelson with 2 hits,

AAA   - Double Header




Recap:  Bats lose Game 1 5-4 in extras. Just a terrible start for Richardson. 3 runs in 2 innings while walking 5.  Santillan threw a scoreless inning.

Not much offense. Just 4 hits. Capel did hit his 5th homer.

Game 2



Recap: Bats win 2-0 .  Wynne, Branch and Byrne throw 2 hit shutout.  Trautwein 1 hit. Dunn pinch ran.

Recap: Daytona wins on a walk off homer by Pitelli. His 2nd of the game. He has been the pleasant surprise of the season so far hitting .478 with a 1.457 OPS.

Edginton made his 2nd nice start.  He's 25 though, so he'd need to have same success a a higher level before you get excited. Relief crew was terrible. Pitelli is 22 1/4

Pino and Carbrera had 2 hits.  Faltine and Graham homered.

Recap: Dragons lose 8-4.  Relief crew of Osman, Menefee and Jesse were all bad.

O'Donnell, Stewart and Collier all had 2 hits

Lookouts lose 9-3. Parks was shaky and then Andrew Moore in relief was disastrous.

On offense Tyler Callihan had 3 hits. If he catches fire the path to the majors is wide open.

Recap: Reds lose 7-2. Greene completely ineffective. 7 runs (6earned) in 6 innings.  ERA for the year now 4.86.  Luckily, we haven't signed him to an expensive long term deal. Wade Miley pitched 3 innings and one gave up 1 run. Did anyone think of signing him this off-season?

Offense could only muster 4 hits and 1 run. Elly homered.  Bell insisted on batting our currently worst hitters 3rd and 4th.

For all the talk about the new and improved India.......... he's back to his career norms.
