The Reds claimed reliever Yosver Zulueta off waivers from the Blue Jays and optioned him to Triple-A. Before he got DFAd, he was listed as Toronto’s 17th best prospect. He has struck out batters at a high rate.

Surprises/thoughts: A little surprised to see Trautwein at AAA. Thought he would be at AA but I guess that will be Nelson and Hunter.  They seem to be high on Trautwein but his hitting scares me.

Infield is very weak prospect-wise.  Outfield has 3 prospects in Dunn, Hurtubise and Hinds.   Journeymen catchers.

Starters have some hot prospects:  Phillips, Richardson, Spiers.  Roa was supposed to be here but he is on the 7 Day DL. Haven't heard the issue.   Need at least 2 more starters,   I'll say Kennedy and Wynn.

Some strong guys in the pen starting with Santillan who looked great in the spring.
