Minor League Game Thread Saturday April 6th, 2024

Recap:  Bats lose 8-5. Richardson had very shaky start.  Didn't make it out of 2nd inning. Control issues.  Hate to see that.  Legumina threw 2 shutout. Moll continues to struggle on his rehab assignment.

Dunn finally broke out.  3 hit game. Trautwein homered. Capel had 3 hits. Hinds continues to struggle.

Recap: Lookouts lose 5-2.  Aguiar and the relievers that followed were all mundane.

Callihan, Alford and Free had 2 hits. With McLain out (maybe for the year) and Marte suspended, and no infield talent at AAA, the path is wide open for Callihan if he could really put it together.

Nelson went hitless, and Hendrick went 0/4

Understand Carlos Jorge limped off the field last night. 

Recap:  Dayton wins 8-5. Sikema who got the win was probably the most effective pitcher with 3 innings, 1 run, 5/2 ratio.

Collier and Hunter homered. Only hit for both. Allen had 2 hits.  Sal Stewart is 0 for 2024 so far.

Recap:  Aguilera didn't do that great, but a trio of relievers went 6 scorelss. Laureano, Montero and Starks.

The surprise hitting star was 2023 draftee Pitelli who was 4/4. Sanchez and Ascanio had 2 hits.  Duno was 1/4.
