Reds Minor League Action for Sunday April 7th, 2024

Recap:  Bats lose 8-3.  Very disappointing start for Lodolo who cruised thru 2 and then got hit for 4 in the third.

Only 4 hits for Bats. Ford had 2 including his 2nd HR.  Dunn 1/3.

Recap:  Lookouts lose 8-2.  Very disappointing start for Petty who gives up 4 in 4 innings including his first homer in a LONG time.  We waited all winter for that?

Heatherly who has a tendency to lose the strike zone periodicially, lost the strike zone.  Walked 3 and gave up 3 runs in .2 innings.

Once again almost no offense.

The bright spot was potential future relief stud Maxwell who pitched one inning and struck out all 3 he faced.

Good to see Jorge back in there.

Recap:  Dayton wins 7-6 on a walk off.   Rivera was ineffective starting. But Gibaut had a scoreless inning, And Brody Jesee had 2 scoreless while striking out 5 and walking none.

Sal Stewart had 3 hits. HRod 3 including a homer. Collier 3 hits.  Allen had one but it left the yard. O'Donnell and Hunter had 2 each.

Our first look at Serwinoski!!

Recap: Turtles win 2-0. Serwinowski was all that was promised.  4 innings of 1 hit, no walk, shutout ball with 6 k's.  Kind of reminds me of Kershaw with his funky motion.

Lorant and Simmons followed with 5 more innings of shutout ball with no walks.
