Minor League Transactions 2023 Season

#Reds have signed RHP Kevin Herget to a minor league contract.  DFA'd (twice) by Rays since Sept, he chose FA and signed a minor league (AAA) deal. Reliever. Had good ERA but more hits than innings pitched.

Seems just looks like "an arm" to me.

Promotions - Dunn from Dayton to Chattanooga.  Hurtibuise from Chattanooga to Louisville  - Ashton Creal promoted to Louisville (from Dayton)

Demotion:   Malvin Valdez to the ACL Reds (from Daytona)

Julian Aguilar promoted to AA.  Bout darn time.


Thomas Farr promoted to AA
Kevin Abel promoted to A+
Zach Maxwell promoted to A+

Alec Mills to the development list (Louisville)
Zack Brown to the IL in Louisville (forearm strain)
Jared Solomon released
Shea Spitzbarth released

Seems like AAA doing some house cleaning.

Cade Hunter getting promoted to High A.  Would like him to continue hitting and see more time at catcher.  At outfield, he's just a guy. At catcher he's an asset.

19 year old has just had a great year in Daytona. .269/.395/.424, 19 doubles and 10 homers, with more walks (66) than strikeouts (59)

Bryce Spalding report that Carlos Jorge getting promoted !!

The 19 year old has had a great year for Daytona.

Three more 2023 draftees are heading to Daytona as INF Carter Graham, LHP Graham Osman, and INF Dominic Pitelli join Tuga Nation! Five of Cincinnati's top 11 draft choices this season are now Tortugas!

 

Another 2023 draftee show up in Daytona, and Jackson Miller makes an appearance.  All he's done is DH but he's hit pretty well.

 

I am a huge NON fan of this move
